Rape

Filed under: Personal thoughts, Serious issues — necroswordsman @ 3:28 pm

Nice topic starter isn’t it. First, a little thing of where the word came from.

Noun:
-The act of forcing sexual intercourse or other sexual activity upon another person, without their consent.

Verb:
-to rape (third-person singular simple present rapes, present participle raping, simple past raped, past participle raped)
-To force sexual intercourse or other sexual activity upon another person, without their consent.
-To abuse an object in an extreme manner.

It can also mean the stalk part of a bunch of grapes from the french word ‘rape’ but thats beside the point.

I think rape is evil. Seriously. I mean, why do you rape a woman. You get 1 moment of pleasure, hurt someone, and get hunted by the police. Get married, you get lots of sex, you both enjoy it, and its completely legal most of the time. Tieing up someone and having sex with them is rape yes. But if a woman was drinking too much and couldn’t think straight, well, thats different isn’t it. Somebody could purposefully buy you lots of drinks, but the point is you can stop when you want.

Thats not ‘rape’. ‘Its raping the true meaning of the word rape’ as quoted by Dick Masterson on www.mabtw.com. This is true. However, no matter what, you should never manipulate someone for sex if they don’t want it. It’s not being a man. We get by on our wits and intelligence. Any guy can tie up a woman and fuck her silly. But not every guy can use his words and charm to pick up a girl and have an even better time.

I know some rape victims. And I feel sad for them. And hope the ones who do/did it are behind bars for a long time.

Rape? Idiotic and just stupid. Be smart. And be careful.

  1. Hi Necro,

Just wanted to drop in. Won’t post again if you don’t want.

I just want to say spot on. And one thing these cry wolf types do is hurt the real victims. I am not sure the % (nor anyone for that matter), I am sure it is high, but real rape victims are too freaked out to pursue justice. I had a friend in college who was raped hanging out with friends, and drinking.

But this was the real deal. Beaten, managed to get away and hospitalized. That girl went through major trauma. I took care of her and as a result worked at a rape clinic as a volunteer. The ones that got drunk and had what I would call a regrettable fuck were very anxious to punish the poor guy stupid enough to do her. The real ones just wanted to get better and only pursued charges when the state took the case.

And those drugs…let me tell you about those drugs. I used to manage a bar in my former life. Those drugs do not come from someone’s date, not that I have ever seen or heard!! They are typically from older men.

I was out at my boyfriend’s friend’s wife birthday in a bar. He was on duty as a firefighter, so I went solo with out gift. We had a crowded table and I wen to the BR. I came back and these older men were sitting nearby sending over drinks and had been standing around the table. I was on my second beer (which did not come from them) and started to feel like maybe I was sick. I excused myself and went home, 10 minutes away. The last few minutes had me praying to God to get there safe and the first thing I did was make myself sick. My buddy called and asked how I was. His girlfriend and several others were getting very ill and passing out. The police were there questioning the guys. I learned then and when I worked in the bar that as a woman, always keep your drink with you at all times.

And women are insane to go on a date with someone who would do that. If you don’t know someone too well, meet them out.

Want to read manipulation though? Pick up a Cosmo and you’ll puke. I had the displeasure of seeing one that one of the girls had over at my boyfriend’s this weekend. The topic, withhold sex in the beginning so you can be in control. Nothing about being respectful or not being a slut. The only thing they had right was no man will respect you if you are easy. That was it.

I hate the injustice of false rape accusation. It is so unfair and does no one good. Makes me sick.

  2. I presume rape is more about power and control than for ‘pleasure’.
Women that drink too much and end up in bed with someone, are not ‘raped’; just irresponsible.

And there are lots of married men with dissatisfying sex lives.

  3. Exactly, Rape is cruel. I don’t understand why it’s so prevelant though.

    Necrosworsman = A real man.

    True men don’t rape.

  5. Frankly I don’t think rape is that prevelant.
I believe the feminist and others make false claims.
Statistics show that as much as 45% of rapes are false. And some in crisis centers believe the majority of rape accusations are false.

Fear is a great weapon used to control.
Many women are liars and girls start early as they can speak to tattle and get someone in trouble even if it’s false.

I’ve witnessed this from 3 years old on up into adults.

  6. The point is, Billy, not how likely rape is to happen, its about the principle of rape. Even if 1 in 50 women or something was raped, it is still an evil thing and statistics won’t change that.

  7. True, but what about the other 49 men who get raped by ‘rape’? Rape is evil, yes, but I believe that is transcended by the evil of absolutely ruining someone’s life. And rape is nothing new, it has been happening for generations. That does not make it any less evil, but it is an evil act just like robbery or theft, probably worse than the two but above murder and such.
Only idiots rape, because no one girl is worth that much trouble without the reprocussions, let alone with them. As in the physical or emotional effort to rape… just isn’t worth it.
Anyone who rapes another human being is unstable and needs medical help, not just a life behind bars. Such is what I believe.

  9. Snit, that’s my point, if severely extreme, exactly.

Doubt, rape isn’t a true evil. It depends on the result on the victim. A rape which does only physical healable damage is better than a murder/attack which leaves the witnesses or victim with psychological scarring which is usually irreversable and vice versa.

Not that one is better than the other, both are evil, but result is important.

Hitler used fear to control people, it’s not a new thing, Billy, and I’m sure in most cases it is the fault of someone else (Sorry to say, a man) which makes women how they are.

  10. Spot on. Rape is rape. Gray rape is not rape. Disgusting, yes. Rape, no.

Besides that, riddle me this: If she’s drunk, she is not responsible for her choices. If he’s drunk, it makes no difference; he’s always responsible.

Oh, and by the way, if you tell a woman to be smart and make good social decisions, you’re blaming the victim. That’s what the feminists told me on FinallyFeminism101. I was all, “huh???”

You want to talk about rape? Follow the linky: http://shakespearessister.blogspot.com/2007/10/explainer-whats-mra.html

Then go to the comments. They’re unbelievably long, but if you do a search for “kellymac”, you can jump in where I did. That’s where it got interesting, anyway ;)

    P.S. Tying up isn’t always a bad thing…
